Low-floor trolleybus presentation held in Ufa

On April 26, the presentation of low-floor trolleybus with an autonomous motion by local production was held in Ufa. The trolleybus became an example of cooperation between “Ufa Electric Transport” municipal enterprise, Ufa Tram &Trolleybus Plant and public company "NefAZ".  The trolleybus got the name «Gorozhanin».

On April 26, the presentation of low-floor trolleybus with an autonomous motion by local production was held in Ufa. The trolleybus became an example of cooperation between “Ufa Electric Transport” municipal enterprise, Ufa Tram &Trolleybus Plant and public company "NefAZ".  The trolleybus got the name «Gorozhanin».

The first middle-floor trolleybus of Ufa production was introduced in May 2017. Trolleybuses internals are the most modern and safety. Passenger capacity is more than 100 people.

The distinctive feature of our trolleybuses is the availability to save autonomous motion. The trolleybus can move several tens of kilometers without contact to the network. This is an important condition for city.

Both types of trolleybuses are ready for mass production.

Irek Yalalov, Head of Ufa City Municipal District Administration, gave a positive assessment of trolleybus technical characteristics and noted the safety and comfort for passengers.
