More than 20 thousand people participated in "Day of 1000 cyclists" in Ufa

On May 27, Ufa held City Festival “1000 cyclist day”. More than 20 thousand cyclists and outdoor enthusiasts gathered on the Lenin square.  Here the bike ride was started.

Traditionally, Irek Yalalov, Head of Ufa City Municipal District Administration, and other Administration representatives took part in the ride.

On May 27, Ufa held City Festival “1000 cyclist day”. More than 20 thousand cyclists and outdoor enthusiasts gathered on the Lenin square.  Here the bike ride was started.

Traditionally, Irek Yalalov, Head of Ufa City Municipal District Administration, and other Administration representatives took part in the ride.

Rustem Khamitov, Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan, greeted the participants of the festival and went to the start of the ride.

“Since this year, the last Sunday of May was announced as Russian day of “Bicycle Parade”. I congratulate all cyclists” – Rustem Khamitov said.

The length of the bike ride is 10 kilometers. Cyclists move along the central streets of the city. For participants and guests, the organizers prepared an entertainment program: concerts, playgrounds, dances, etc.
