Sportsmen from Ufa came home with medals of the International Children's Games

On 4 August 2018, Ufa sportsmen returned home from the 52nd International Children Games  which were held in Israel.

On 4 August 2018, Ufa sportsmen returned home from the 52nd International Children Games which were held in Israel. They represented the capital of Bashkortostan Republic in three kinds of sports: fencing, athletics and judo. The sportsmen came home with six medals.

During the first day judoists won three medals – two silver and one bronze. In fencing competitions Ufa won three medals: silver medal in personal classification, boys team won bronze medal and girls team took silver award.

Over 1,500 young sportsmen participated in the Games in Jerusalem. The next 53rd International Children Games will be held in Ufa in July 2019. Therefore, in addition to medals, Ufa sports delegation brought the official ICG flag, which was handed to them at the closing ceremony of the Games in Jerusalem.
