On 17-21 September 2018 Ufa will host  the II Vladimir Spivakov International Violin Competition.  Young performers aged 15-26 from Russia, Armenia, Spain, the USA and Japan will participate in the musical competition.

On 17-21 September 2018 Ufa will host  the II Vladimir Spivakov International Violin Competition.  Young performers aged 15-26 from Russia, Armenia, Spain, the USA and Japan will participate in the musical competition.

Performances  will be judged by the international jury, headed by the outstanding violinist People's Artist of Russia Mikhail Kopelman (USA). The jury will also include Vladimir Spivakov (Russia), Boris Kushnir (Austria), Qian Zhou (Singapore), Takashi Shimizu (Japan),  Sergei Dogadin (Russia).

The winner of the II Vladimir Spivakov International Violin Competition will receive a violin, made  by the Italian master Riccardo Antoniazzi in 1912. Laureates of the second and third prizes will get violins of Jules Grangjon (Paris, 1848) and Mr.Igor Ulitsky (Moscow, 2017). The prize fund also includes two separate prizes of $ 1,000 each and special prizes from art director Mr. Spivakov.
