Lyceum No.1 - one of the oldest educational institutions in Ufa – experiences its second birth. The Lyceum is among priority projects on 100th anniversary of the Republic of Bashkortostan.

The Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov, Minister of Education of the Republic of Bashkortostan Gulnaz Shafikova and the Acting Head of Ufa City Municipal District Administration Salavat Khusainov visited the opening ceremony. They looked over the elementary school classrooms, canteen, gym and talked to teaching staff. All classrooms are equipped with interactive software complex including interactive blackboards and multimedia projector. During lessons teachers use test system Votum, electronic textbooks and electronic estimation system. Electronic workflows and journal are introduced in the Lyceum, too.

Renovated building will allow to move to the first shift studying and will provide place for 775 students, that is 2 times more than before the renovation.

Lyceum No.1 begins its history since 1920 and is known for its good results. In recent years students of the school have become winners of All-Russian, Republic and regional Olympiads.
