70th anniversary of Ufa State Petroleum Technological University

Ufa State Petroleum Technological University one of the leading technological universities in Russia. In 2018, the university celebrates its 70th birthday. On October, 18 an anniversary celebration was held in the big hall of the 8th building of the university. The Deputy Head of the Ufa Administration Sintimir Bayazitov congratulated the audience.

“The history of your educational institution associated with petroleum, gas and petrochemical industries. For the last 70 years, Ufa State Petroleum Technological University became one of the largest institution of higher education in Russia, research and academic centre of international level” said Sintimir Bayazitov.  “University administration successfully provides development and updating of facilities and resources basis, creates favorable working and studying environment.”

Today, the university consists of 7 faculties, 3 institutions, institution of career broadening program, master's degree and postgraduate training program, doctoral program, engineering center and technopark. University brunches are also represented in Oktyabrskiy, Salavat and Sterlitamak cities. Totally the university has 20 thousand students.

University graduates are in demand and able to build their future in different spheres- science and education, economics and business, politics and social work, government services and industry. Annually they side with Fuel & Energy Complex specialists of our republic and country, lead oil and gas companies, hold key positions in units of government. University’s specialists are highly appreciated in factories, Ufa or republic companies, in all regions of Russia and abroad.

One of the strongest academic staff including more than 1300 people works in the university.

Veterans and teachers of the university were congratulated by the rector of the Ufa State Petroleum Technological University Ramil Bakhtizin, the Chairman of Standing Commission of Ufa City Municipal District Council of science, education, youth policy and sport Anatoliy Goryachev, colleagues and students.

Moreover, many workers of the university were awarded with letters of appreciation and honorary certificates.
