Ufa holds International children artwork competition by Alexey Kuznetzov dedicated to Volunteer’s Year in Russia. Organizers of the event are the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Republic Educational Academic Centre, Bashkortostan State M. V. Nesterov Art Museum and A. Kuznetzov Children's Art School No.1.

The first competition was held in 1991 in memory of Honored Artist of Bashkir Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic, famous painter Alexey Kuznetzov. The event is intended to keep cultural and historical heritage, art education traditions, support gifted students and develop charity to native land.

Alsu Yangirova - 15 years old student of  the A. Kuznetzov Children's Art School No.1  got a Grand Prix for triptych “My family” - “ Grandma and Grandpa”.

Competition Jury examined over 3300 paintings, graphic, sculptural and decorative works of 3-7 years old participants from different cities and regions of Bashkortostan, Kazakhstan, Tatarstan, Udmurtia and Chechen Republic.

Awarding ceremony will take place in Bashkortostan State M. V. Nesterov Art Museum on November, 2 at 12:00.
