The Russian Energy Forum and the “Ural Energy Industry” International Exhibition are held in Ufa

On October 23, 2018 “VDNH-Expo” in Ufa hosts The Russian Energy Forum and the “Ural Energy Industry” International Exhibition.

The opening ceremony was led by Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of Bashkortostan Farkhad Samedov, First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Energy Committee Igor Ananskih, the Head of the Department of State Energy Policy of the Ministry of Energy of Russia Alexey Kulapin, Minister of Industry and Innovation Policy of the Republic of Bashkortostan Alexey Karpukhin, Deputy Head of the Department of Machine Tool Building and Investment Machine Building of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Oleg  Tokarev, Acting Head of Ufa City Municipal District Administration Salavat Khusainov, CEO of the “Energy Efficiency Centre XXI”, doctor of economics, the recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize Igor  Bashmakov and other officials.

It was said in welcome speech that the Forum created a possibility to discuss topical issues in the sphere of innovative energy production, share experience on use of new energy-efficient technologies.

“Ufa is provided with energy by resource supplying companies, which work according to approved schedule of heating, electricity water supply and program of integrated housing and utilities system development of Ufa until 2025. It will help to implement a policy of engineering nets development and investment activities. Also, we have information about sustainable use of energy sources and its effects on our mutual work and people’s quality of life” stressed Salavat Khusainov.

Primary target of the Forum is to create efficient high-status platform for industry service providers, companies which implement technologies and government representatives to communicate.

The Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Ministry of Industry and Innovation Policy of the Republic of Bashkortostan and Bashkir Exhibition Company are the organizers of the Forum. The event is held with the assistance of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation and Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation.

The key issue of the plenary session of the Forum 2018 was the development of alternative energy. The forum will run 25 sessions regarding such themes as digital energetics, cabling and wiring products, energy saving and management, generation, world projects on alternative energetics, Research and Technological Development financing, working process of biofuel power plant, industrial and street lighting, energy service agreement, computer-based management systems.
