Ufa will hold International Festival of bashkir and tatar songs “Idel”

On November 16-17, 2018 National Concert Hall in Ufa holds International Festival of bashkir and tatar songs “Idel”.

The founder of the competition is a Noncomercial Fund Culture Support and Development “Idel”. The event is hold with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Ministry of Culture of Tatarstan, Tatar World Congress, Printing and Mass Media Agency of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Ufa City Municipal District Administration, sponsors and partners of the Festival.

The main goal of the event is to develop professional academic vocal art and cultural co-operation between Bashkortostan and Tatarstan.

Graduates from academic and creative faculties, vocal-instrumental ensemble performing in Bashkir and Tatar languages from Russia and other countries can take part in the competition.

The Festival is in tune of cultural politics of government. This international project gives a significant input in both Republics’ development and provides prosperity to national scene for years to come.
