Ufa ranks in the TOP 10 cities in the sphere of housing and public utilities development

Within the frames of research project on life quality the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation evaluated the quality of housing and public utilities work in the cities with a population of more than 250 thousand people. The evaluation is based on sociological research made in the cities in 2018.

The research showed that all characteristics of housing and public utilities work are improved lately. The share of those who are completely or mostly satisfied with the condition of their houses rose to 68% against 59% in 2012. The share of those who satisfied with the improvement of their own city reached 71% against 67% in 2012. Despite minor recession, 88% of residents of big and medium-sized cities consider building volume in their cities as sufficient.

On the other hand, in 2018 the work of public utilities was estimated rather low: 49% of citizens in big and middle-sized cities are satisfied with quality timescale of housing service.

Based on the research findings, Ufa is in the TOP 10 cities in the sphere of housing and public utilities development.

City - leaders are Grozny, Nizhnevartovsk, Sterlitamak, Kazan, Sochi, Vologda, Moscow, Tyumen, Stavropol and Ufa.
