On November 12, 2018 Ufa held the First City Festival “Family Folkloriada-2018”. The event was dedicated to the Year of Family and one of the greatest event – international Festival “World Folkloriada”.

The First City Festival gathered families of various nationalities from 7 Ufa districts. They showed the uniqueness of their nation, culture and language in their performances.

The deputy Head of Ufa City Municipal District Administration Syntimir Bayazitov greeted participants.

“Today, folk art popularization is relevant more than ever and helps to enhance relations between families. I want to congratulate all families and wish them happiness, prosperity and further creative achievements for the benefit of future generations and citizens of our capital,” he marked.

Each family who took part in the Festival is a great example of family relations who cultivate moral and patriotic values and strengthen the institution of the family.

In the end of the event , families were awarded with honorary certificates and memorable gifts.
