On December 3, 2018 Ufa hold a concert dedicated to the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. Ufa city organization “MIR” for Persons with Disabilities and Ufa Administration organized this event.

Craft and art exhibition was arranged in the hall before the concert. Children could play on interactive grounds. Also, all guests had an opportunity to check pressure, blood glucose level, visual acuity, ocular pressure and get specialized medical consultation.

The deputy Head of Ufa City Municipal District Administration Rustem Gazizov greeted the audience and opened the event. He marked that there are about 7 000 persons with disabilities in Ufa including 3 500 children.

“Most live full lives – work, do sports, take part in cultural measures. Our duty is to fulfil inner potential, support the desire to live interesting life. It’s our common goal” marked Rustem Gazizov.

Quite a number of things are made for children with disabilities. Today, 2 851 children with disabilities study at city schools and 500 children study at school of sports skills.

“Thank you for your courage and enthusiasm for life. It is an example to follow. I wish you luck and long active life” added Rustem Gazizov.

Guests with most active life position were awarded with letters of appreciation.
