On December, 15-18 Ufa will hold II Russian-Chinese youth winter games 2018. 98 athletes from each side will take part in the competition.

On December, 15-18 Ufa will hold II Russian-Chinese youth winter games 2018. 98 athletes from each side will take part in the competition.

The program of the 2018 Games includes five sports: skiing, figure skating, snowboarding, hockey and speed skating (short track).

Best Ufa sports venues will hold competitions. Ufa Arena will hold hockey and short track competitions, sports complex “Olympic Park” – snowboard, Sport Palace - figure skating and sports complex “Biathlon”— skiing.

Main goals of Games are further friendship strengthening and cooperation between Russia and China, sports traditions development, sports mastery strengthening and gaining international experience by young athletes.

Russian-Chinese Games were founded in 2006: summer sports competitions were held in Tianjin (2006), Moscow (2007), Beijing (2009), Penza (2011), Shanghai (2013), Irkutsk (2015) and Guangzhou (2017).

The first Russian-Chinese youth winter games were held in Harbin (China) in 2016 and Russian team won the overall standings.
