How Ufa will celebrate New Year 2019

As the head of the department of culture and art Islametdin Mambetov said on the meeting on December 11 held in city municipality, on December 25, Lenin square will hold New Year outdoor festival and Fathers Frosts show dedicated to New Year’s Tree opening.

Municipal cultural institutions will provide citizens with different events. On December 21 – January 8, all cultural institutions will hold entertaining events.

Palaces of Culture will hold costume balls, theatrical performances, New Year's matinees and games. Theme parties, sport programs, outdoor festivals for children will be organized and, also, Father Frost and Snow Maiden will visit citizens’ homes.

City libraries will arrange creative corners, book fairs, creative days, cafe theatres and events dedicated to national traditions.

Schools will hold New Years’ matinees for students. Also, concerts for their parents are planned to be held, too.

Cultural institutions will carry out more than 120 celebratory events.

On December 21, state concert hall “Bashkortostan” will hold main New Year’s event and, on December 24, entertainment concert for gifted children, kids from multi-member and foster families and orphans. Disabled children will be invited to New Year's matinees, too. Concert halls will arrange New Year's entertainments for young guests.

On New Year's eve, since 10:00 PM till 02:00 AM entertainment show will be performed on the scene in front of the Russian State Academy Dramatic Theater.

It has to be mentioned, that a great attention is paid to open platforms of the capital where the ice parks and festive Trees are situated. In total, 130 Trees will be fixed on Lenin and Salavat Yulaev Squares, near malls, parks etc.

The Head of the Administration Ulfat Mustafin mentioned that during the holidays main platforms should be provided with entertainment shows and public policy. Also, he gave instructions to clean the territories on January, 1 where the outdoor festivals were held.
