Ufa athlete Semen Yelistratov became ten-time European champion in short track

Semen Yelistratov won the first place in short track European Championship at a distance of 1000 meters. The contest was held in the Dutch Dordrecht.

His result in the final race was 1 minute 24,624 seconds. The athlete from Hungary Liu Shaolin Sandor took the second place (1.24,702) and the third place won Denis Airapenyan from Russia (1.24,816).

So, Semen Yelistratov became ten-time European champion. Also, he won 3 bronze medals.

In total, Russia has 10 medals: 2 gold, 2 silver and 6 bronze medals.

Two more students from Ufa Olympic Reserve school №1 participated in this European Championship: Vikror Lobas and Dmitriy Migunov.
