Veterans-survivors of the Siege of Leningrad are congratulated with the 75th anniversary of lifting of the Siege of Leningrad

Annually, on January 27, our country celebrates one of the main events of military glory – Day of the Siege of Leningrad. In 2019 it is celebrated for the 75th time.

In this day in 1944 the Soviet Leningrad-Novgorod Strategic Offensive expelled German forces from the southern outskirts of the city.

For today, 73 veterans of the Siege of Leningrad live in Ufa. Municipality organized greetings dedicated to this date.

Veteran Ildigan Yusupova was congratulated one of the first by deputy head of Ufa Administration Alina Suleymanova. Deputy Head marked that Ildigan Yusupova is an example of courage and heroism and wished her heath and many happy returns of the day gifting greeting card and memorable present.

Within the frames of the 75th anniversary of lifting of the Siege of Leningrad, Ildigan Yusupova got an invitation from multi media center «Izvestiya» to take part in program in St. Petersburg about people-survivors of the Siege of Leningrad.
