City festival «Wisdom of Mustai» dedicated to 100th anniversary of a national poet of Bashkortostan started in Ufa

On January 31, Ufa held an opening ceremony of City festival «Wisdom of Mustai» dedicated to 100th anniversary of a national poet of Bashkortostan Mustai Karim.

The chief of the Mustai Karim fund, daughter of the poet Alfiya Karimova, the deputy of state assembly – Kurultai RB, head editor of the newspaper «Ufimskiye Vedomosti» and «Ufa» magazine Galina Ishmukhametova, the Chairman of Standing Commission of Ufa City Municipal District Council of science, education, youth policy and sport Anatoliy Goryachev, representatives of city Administration and other guests took part in the event.

On behalf of Ufa Administration deputy Head of Ufa Administration Alina Suleymanova greeted participants and guests.

«Artistic heritage of our great countryman consists of more than 100 works and is a national pride in our country. Mustafa Safich was a great poet, prose-writer and dramaturgist, as well as great man who lived and created his masterpieces nearby» said Alina Suleymanova. «In this anniversary year, I wish all young talents creative impulses. Today, we launch the year of 100th anniversary of a national poet».

Evening event show was prepared by national artist of the republic Alfiya Yulchurina, lead singers of city culture hall Almaz Ayupov and Radmir Khasanov, «Miras» band and others.

Within the frames of the festival, different events like competitions of poets, literature contests and so on will be held during the year.
