New model of trolleybus was presented in Ufa

On February 20, Ufa tramway and trolleybus factory held a presentation of new trolleybus model «Citizen» with autonomous overstroke.

Chiefs of electric transport companies of subjects of the Russian Federation, technic partners «Ufa tramway and trolleybus factory», chiefs of local authorities and other representatives concerned about city ecological transport.

Guests reviewed a trolleybus and other new electric cars, tested new vehicle in city conditions of traffic without contact net. Also, the presentation of new assemblage department was held there and issues on cooperation, modern prospects and city electric transport development problems were discussed.

Low-floor trolleybus with accumulator battery is saving, equipped with modern safe and comfortable technology and doesn’t harm the ecology. Passenger capacity is more than 100 people, the quantity of seats – 28 and space for the passenger in a wheelchair.

Its main difference is a fuel distance. It means that the trolleybus can cover half a score of kilometers apart to contact net. This trolleybus can skirt and continue driving. The system of autonomous driving is charged while the trolleybus is under the contact net.

Also, the trolleybus «Citizen» is equipped with a «GLONASS» system, wi-fi, multimedia, video, conditioning system and automatic pay passage system.

After the trolleybus was reviewed, guests gave a positive mark to its technical characteristics and noted its safety and comfort for passengers.
