Ufa begins foundational work for the annual festival «1000 Cyclists Day»

Traditional city festival «1000 Cyclists Day» will be held in Ufa on May, 26. This year it is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Bashkortostan and will be held in 5 cities of the region.

It will start in the Lenin square. Bike ride will take place on main streets of the city.

Registration will start at 9.00 am at the day of the event neat the launch pad. It will be possible to register in advance.

«1000 Cyclists Day» has been one of the most popular sports events among Ufa residents and guests of the capital. The festival traditionally includes a mass bike ride along the main streets of the city, as well as the festival program at the finish point  - bicycle playgrounds, a concert and master classes.

The point of the fest is to create a new image of the city, friendly and comfortable for life. Bicycle in this concept is meant as a transport, the most suitable for modern urban life.

To date, preparations for the festival are in full swing.

Organizers of the festival are "Union of cyclists of the Republic of Bashkortostan" with the support of the Ministry of youth policy and sports of RB, the Ministry of ecology and nature, the State Committee on entrepreneurship and tourism of RB, Ufa Administration.
