Russian Industrial Forum has started in Ufa

On February 26, «VDNH Expo» holds Russian Industrial Forum. Annually, about 5 000 specialists all over Russia visit the event. Specialized exhibition «Innovative potential of Ufa» also takes place there within the Forum.

Acting Head of the Republic Radiy Khabirov, Acting Deputy Prime Minister of Bashkortostan Raif Abdrakhimov, the State Duma deputy Alexey Izotov, the Minister of Industry and Innovation Policy of Russia Alexei Karpukhin, the Head of Ufa  Administration Ulfat Mustafin and others took part in the event.

«I am glad that the Forum has become a traditional, well-known and authoritative. This year, in addition to the Russian regions, delegations of China, South Korea, Germany, Belarus, Moldova visit the event. I hope that the Forum will help them to find partners in the Russian Federation» said Radiy Khabirov. «Today, we discuss the 4th industrial revolution, digital economy, innovative technologies implementation and the place of our country in these processes. Actually, this is what the Head of our state pays attention to. Such economy includes qualitatively different, smart, efficient organization of labor – lean production, new quality of human resources, motivation, professional competencies».

The Head of the region noted that 14 large enterprises involved in the Federal project to increase labor productivity. Main emphasis is also pointed on innovative potential development. Thus, 13 centers of youth innovative creativity have been created in the Republic. A joint scientific and educational center of Rosneft and USPTU is being formed.

After the opening ceremony, guests visited the exposition of specialized exhibitions «Mechanical engineering», «Metalworking», «Welding», «Means of protection» and «Innovative potential of Ufa» organized within the Forum. More than 130 companies from 15 regions of Russia and foreign countries presented their technologies and equipment.

Business program of the forum is planned for three days. Today, the plenary session «Problems and specifics of industrial revolution 4.0 in Russia» was held. It was attended by the heads and representatives of the financial market Committee of State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, the government of the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Committee of the Russian Union of Industrialists and entrepreneurs on technical regulation, standardization and conformity assessment, the all-Russian research Institute of aviation materials, the Institute of Economics of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Engineering center of additive technologies «Rostekh», the advanced research Foundation.

For the first time, Forum held a meeting of the Board of the Ministry of industry and innovation policy of the Republic of Bashkortostan – the main industry event of the department.

The forum will continue until February, 28. More than 20 thematic sections will be held at the site with the participation of experts from Federal agencies, concerns, associations and unions, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Ufa, Chelyabinsk, Omsk, Naberezhnye Chelny, Samara, Voronezh universities.
