Conscripts of the municipality will be able to pass military service on the corvette of the Baltic fleet «Smart»

Official delegation of the Administration headed by Ulfat Mustafin has a working visit to Kaliningrad. Within the frames of the visit members of the delegation took part in several business meetings.

The key point of the visit is signature of accession on cooperation between Ufa Administration and corvette crew of Baltic fleet «Smart».

The document was signed on March 1, on the board of the corvette «Smart». The agreement was completed to attain mutual cooperation and coordination of joint actions to assist in the implementation of the state program «Patriotism promotion among Russian Federation residents within 2016-2020», joint actions for strengthening and development of patronage relationships, propaganda of history, culture, municipality achievements and martial affairs of the Baltic fleet, young men and schoolboys training to service in Armed forces of the Russian Federation, strengthening cooperation of servicemen of the Baltic fleet and Ufa residents, improve the prestige of military service, respect naval traditions, as well as issues solving related to the integration into the social sphere, fired from military service in the reserve, veterans of the Navy and members of their families.

According to the document, Ufa Administration undertakes to establish patronage over the guards Corvette «Smart», provide the information support and promotion of Navy military service, including the guards Corvette. Send best recruits of Ufa for service on the sponsored ship in coordination with organizational and mobilization bodies of the fleet. Provide assistance and moral support in conditions improving of combat training and educational work of the crew of the corvette. To contribute to the replenishment of the library of the guards Corvette "Smart" literary works of authors from Ufa and organization of professional and amateur creative teams performances in front of the Baltic soldiers, as well as to carry out other patriotic activities.

As part of the document, the guard corvette "Smart" undertakes to complete the crew of recruits from Ufa on a contractual basis in the directions of the Military Commissariat of the Republic of Bashkortostan. Develop the club of young sailors of the Ufa city children's Maritime center named after M. I. Bakayev and assist in the development and improvement of the training base, providing the marine class with decommissioned naval property and promotion of naval traditions. Meet delegations of Ufa Administration for joint events dedicated to public holidays, memorable and significant dates for Russian fleet and organize work on assistance to military-Patriotic education of pre-conscription youth.

After the signing of the cooperation agreement, a solemn meeting dedicated to this event took place there. The Head of Ufa Administration Ulfat Mustafin noted that the signing of the agreement opens up new prospects and opportunities between Ufa and the command of the guards Corvette «Smart».

«The purpose of the signing of the agreement is to promote the historical heritage of The Navy, military-patriotic education, increase the morale of the ship's crew. Therefore, we plan to develop patriotic work with pre-conscription youth and attract veteran organizations. We will work on the selection and direction for military service. We will also work out other sides of sponsored relations» he said.

Moreover, Ulfat Mustafin said that the Republic raised 36 admirals including Igor Mukhametshin and the hero of Russia Konstantin Surkov.  About 47 thousand young people from Bashkiria served in the Navy.

«I express confidence in creation and maintenance of trusting relations between the guards corvette «Smart» and the capital of Bashkortostan – Ufa. I wish the command and crew good health and prosperity, success in service and new achievements for the benefit of our great country» he concluded.

Welcoming the members of the official delegation of Ufa Administration and the military, the commander of the ship, guard captain of the 2nd rank Ruslan Smirnov focused on the special importance of the cooperation agreement signing.

«Best men serve on our ship and we will be glad to accept military personnel from the Republic of Bashkortostan in our ranks. Today is another page in the history of our ship. I am sure that this agreement will bring a lot of positive results and, most importantly, it will contribute to the patriotic education of young people. All of us together carry out one task for the benefit of our homeland» Ruslan Smirnov said.

Then, for the delegation of the Ufa Administration was organized a sightseeing tour of the guards corvette «Smart» including a ceremony of laying flowers in memory of the hero of the Soviet Union Valentin Khodyrev.
