Ufa held competition of Volga Federal District on martial arts among youth

On March 1, 2 sport center «Dinamo» held competition of Volga Federal District on martial arts among youth, group age of 12-17 and 18-21.

450 athletes from Samara, Nizhny Novgorod, Orenburg, Penza, Kirov, Saratov, Perm regions, Bashkortostan, Udmurtia, Mordovia and Chuvashia took part in the competition.

Bashkir athletes defended the honor of the Republic. As a result of the competition, junior team of Bashkortostan took the first place, the team of Perm region took the second place, and the third – from Nizhny Novgorod region. 28 young men and 14 girls representing the Republic became winners of tournament and received permits to take part in the competition of Russia  which will take place in Volgograd on March 25-30.

The Ministry of youth policy and sports of the Republic of Bashkortostan, the regional branch of All-Russian public organization «Federation of martial arts» of the Republic of Bashkortostan organized that sport event.
