Radiy Khabirov inspected new building of oncologic dispensary building process and reviewed Republican Orphanage No.1

On March 20, Acting Head of the Republic Radiy Khabirov inspected new building of oncologic dispensary building process and reviewed Khudaiberdin Republican Orphanage No.1.

Construction of new building of the Republican Oncologic Center was started in 2017. Floorspace of the venue will be over 20 000 square metres. The capacity of the hospital is 240 beds and 450 visits per shift. The total cost of construction is estimated at 1.7 billion rubles. In 2019, 900 mln rubles were invested including 500 mln rubles from federal budget. New building will be opened up by 2020.

Radiy Khabirov spoke to builders, doctors, Ministry of Health of the Republic representatives. According to their information, venue will provide additional 500 beds due to enlargement of the dispensary.

«This is an incredibly necessary venue. Cancer is a scourge of our time» - said the Head of the Republic. «It is very important for us to create comfortable conditions for visitors, patients and, of course, for doctors. We are waiting for this venue».

The Bashkir Republican Orphanage No.1 brings up 46 children aged 4 to 17 including 3 kids of preschool age. the accommodation of children is organized according to the principles of family upbringing in five educational groups. In each such group, in addition to bedrooms and living rooms, there are separate rooms for rest and meals, for occupations, bathrooms. Most of children study at Ufa school No. 99.

Radiy Khabirov reviewed children’s living conditions, visited museum, classrooms, talked to graduates of the orphanage. Today, many of them got secondary professional education or higher education institutes, get professions or started up their own businesses. Acting Head  marked that he is proud of such guys who follow their goal.

«On March 20, International Day of Happiness is celebrated. So, I wish you to be happy now and in the future» said the Acting Head. «You should study hard, do sports, be strong and confident and to go further».
