On May 19, All Russian synchronous start semi-marathon «ZaBeg.RF» started in Ufa.

Participants of the competition were greeted by Deputy Head of Ufa Administration Rustem Gazizov, 13 times Paralympic champion, 18 times champion of the world Rima Batalova, veterans of sports and other special guests.

Participants of the competition cover the distance of 2, 5, 10 or 21 km. Start and finish, fan-zones for guests were situated on Congress-Hall square.

Ufa is one of 19 cities who joined «ZaBeg.RF» running competition. Synchronous start – is one of unique hallmarks of All Russian semi-marathon which helped the project to become one of the hugest sports events in the country and now is listed in the Guinness Book of World Records.

1 600 people took part in the competition. Total amount of runners all over Russia is 70 000.

City which will win in the marathon will accept the title of race capital of Russia.
