On July 17, in municipality the Head of Ufa Administration Ulfat Mustafin met with athletes-participants of 53rd summer International Children’s Games.

During the meeting, Ulfat Mustafin congratulated the gathered athletes with great results and thanked their coaches for their work with the upcoming generation.

«For the 50 year history of the Games the capital of Bashkortostan became the first city in the world to hold both winter and summer competitions. You did a great job. Although the concept of the Games doesn’t provide for summing up based on medals quantity and places distribution, you have performed very well» he said.

On their side, young athletes and their coaches shared their experience and told about the results, that were achieved in 53rd summer International Children’s Games.

In conclusion, Ulfat Mustafin awarded the coaches with letters of appreciation of Ufa Administration.

1192 athletes from 84 cities of 29 countries took part in 53rd International Children’s Games. As part of the Games the following 9 Olympic sports were held: athletics, swimming, fencing, Greco-Roman wrestling, judo, football, basketball 3x3, beach volleyball and climbing.

The International sports competition took place on 5 sporting facilities: sport training Center, sport school №32, Neftyanik stadium, Vatan park, Kashkadan recreation park.
