Nikolai Valuev gave a master-class for young boxers from Ufa

In sports training Center of Republic of Bashkortostan in Ufa, world champion in heavy weight, State Duma of the Federal Assembly Deputy Nikolai Valuev had a meeting with young boxers to share his experience. Acting Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov and minister of youth policy and sports of the Republic of Bashkortostan Ruslan Khabibov also visited the master-class.

«When we talk about Ufa and republic, a lot of sporting venues will be built. The project of wrestling Palace, which will also be aimed at boxing competitions, is almost ready. One more platform for big tournaments will be based on a new volleyball arena. More than that, we are currently in discussions over carrying a 2021 world championship in Greco-Roman, freestyle and female wrestling. It is a big event. After such competitions the amount of children, that come to sport sections, increases massively. It is very important to us» said acting Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov.

Radiy Khabirov added that there are currently discussions about opening Nikolay Valuev’s boxing school in Ufa. A new sports training Center in Zaton is considered as a platform for this school.

«One of our main priorities is to develop a mass sport. If coaches support us, we consider the platform in Kamyshlinka for a boxing school. A big modern complex is built there» marked Radiy Khabirov.

Nikolai Valuev also hopes that he can soon open a boxing school in Ufa.

«Boxing school will be another reason to come to republic more often. The kids here are amazing» shared famous boxer.

Nikolai Valuev is a frequent guest of Ufa, but it is his first master-class here.

«I am very happy to visit not only Ufa, but also Bashkortostan this often. This trip to Ufa is special for me, because today I came to the boxing temple. It really feels like a temple – a big and spacious hall, it suits most for boxing lessons, I think. We had interesting discussions with Radiy Faritovich, and we have good ideas about the development of our favorite kind of sport in the republic. I hope, our meetings and cooperation will continue in future» shared Nikolai Valuev in greeting speech.

Students of boxing sections from different regions of Ufa, athletes, who are members of the Republic of Bashkortostan boxing team, fans of this martial art and fans of Nikolai Valuev attended the master class.

Nikolai Valuev examined a possible platform for his future school after the master-class, autograph session and a tea party with Ufa boxers. Boxing hall in new sports training Center delighted the world champion.

«I have never seen such huge Centers in Russia before. The ceilings are high and it is very spacious. The Center is located in a beautiful place» shared his impressions Nikolai Valuev.
