Ufa football players scored their first win in Juvenile tournament «Peace cup» in China

The matches of the Juvenile football tournament «Peace cup», which takes place in Shenyang (Peoples Republic of China) for the fifth time, have started. 4 thousand athletes from seven countries will participate in the competition.

Ten students of the «Football Academy» Olympic reserve school №9 will represent Ufa.

Matches take place in a park, where 40 football fields are located. Ufa team played their first match with the team of Qiqihar – twin-city of the capital of Bashkortostan.

Ufa athletes took the lead in the beginning of the game, scored six and conceded one goal.

«We understood that our skill level is higher, but it doesn’t mean, that the victory was easy. We will try to show our best in every game.» says 12 year old Ufa team member Daniil Khasanov. Ufa and Fushun teams fought hard for the victory until the last minutes, but the match finished with the score 1:1.  

On August 9, Ufa team will play the decisive match of the qualifying stage with the team of Shenzhen.
