On September 1, the largest family celebration – «My favorite city» festival takes place in Ufa for the first time. In order to hold the festival, Lenin Street became a pedestrian zone for one day.

Acting Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan Radii Khabirov, acting Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan Raif Abdrakhimov, Head of Ufa Administration Ulfat Mustafin visited the event. They inspected the festival areas, marking their diversity, and the work level of masters and artists.

More than ten activity zones work for Ufa citizens and guests, including «musical Ufa», «theatrical Ufa», «model Ufa», «television Ufa». A square in front of «Seven Girls» fountain, where «Etnozona» is located, turned into comfortable national yard with yurt and elements of Bashkir national life.

A festival of city restaurants «Eat! », where cities’ best restaurants, cafes and coffee houses cook their most delicious and popular dishes, takes place on the square in front of Gostinyi Dvor.

In «athletic Ufa» area visitors can get an autograph of «Salavat Yulaev» hockey club, «Ufa» football club, «Ural» volleyball club, «Ufimets» basketball club, «Alisa» handball club players, watch exhibition performances of leading republic athletes, Ufa sport school alumni, and participate in master classes.

Ufa Administration is the organizer of the «My favorite city» festival. It is carried out to develop event tourism, organize leisure of Ufa citizens and guests, and improve the city image.

The festival will be held until 20:00.
