The “Exercise with a Star” action gathered several hundred active citizens in Ufa

In Ufa, the “Exercise with a Star” action, which was aimed at promoting a healthy lifestyle among the population of the republic, gathered several hundred active citizens. The event took place on the morning of September 8 in the square in front of the State Academic Russian Drama Theater.

The action was attended by famous athletes of Bashkortostan - hockey player of the «Salavat Yulaev» club Maxim Mayorov, 13-time Paralympic champion Rima Batalova, Russian rider in ice racing, Nikolai Krasnikov, participant in the Olympic Games, International Freestyle Master in ski acrobatics Kristina Spiridonova, Russian athlete, Champion of the Russian Federation, World champion in polyathlon, Arthur Kabirov, leader and soloist of the «Argymak» group, Honored Artist of the Republic of Bashkortostan Rinat Ramazanov and others.

13-time Paralympic champion Rima Batalova greeted the participants in the sports festival and encouraged everyone to take part in the United election day.

«Ufa, as you can see, I have a bracelet in my hands, so I have already voted. I am a man of sport, I am a man of the team and today we choose the most important “captain”, “coach”, with whom we will go forward and win medals. Alga, Bashkortostan! Alga!» she said.

Next, the athletes, along with all participants, performed several simple exercises that can be done every day and in any weather.

In addition to the exercises with the participation of famous athletes, the participants of the action were waiting for an extensive entertainment program. Five active zones worked at the site: a power complex with a 16 kg weight, the «Push-up» power complex, a tug-of-war site, juggling the ball and a jump rope.

It should be noted, that today, on September 8, the “Exercise with a Star” campaign takes place in all municipal areas and urban districts of our republic.
