Radii Khabirov took office as Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan

On September 19, in the House of the State Assembly - Kurultay of the Republic of Bashkortostan, a solemn ceremony of taking office of the popularly elected Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan Radii Khabirov took place.

It was attended by Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of Russia in the Volga Federal District Igor Komarov, former leaders of the region Murtaza Rakhimov and Rustem Khamitov, members of the Federation Council and deputies of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, deputies of the State Assembly - Kurultay of the Republic of Bashkortostan, members of the Government of Bashkortostan, judges of the Constitutional, Arbitration and Supreme Courts, heads of territorial bodies of federal departments, republican executive bodies, law enforcement enforcement agencies, heads of administrations of municipal districts and urban districts, representatives of labor collectives, public organizations, traditional religions, scientific and creative intellectuals of the republic.

In their presence, the chairman of the Central Election Commission of the Republic Ilona Makarenko handed Radii Khabirov the certificate of the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan. After this, Radii Khabirov in the Bashkir and Russian languages took the oath of allegiance to the people, the Constitution of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Bashkortostan:

« In the exercise of the powers of the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan, I swear to faithfully serve the multinational people of the Republic of Bashkortostan, strengthen and defend the statehood of the Republic of Bashkortostan, abide by the Constitution of the Russian Federation and the Constitution of the Republic of Bashkortostan, guarantee the rights and freedoms of man and citizen».

Radii Khabirov, nominated by the regional branch of the «United Russia» party, won the election of the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan, receiving 82.02 percent of the vote.
