Ulfat Mustafin gave a speech at the II Moldovan-Russian Economic Forum

From September 19 to September 21, the II Moldo-Russian Economic Forum is being held in the capital of the Republic of Moldova - the city of Chisinau. Acting Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan Andrei Nazarov heads the official delegation of Bashkortostan. It included the heads of relevant ministries and departments, as well as the heads of municipalities.

It included the heads of relevant ministries and departments, as well as the heads of municipalities.

Within the framework of the second day of the forum, 11 sections were organized in the Palace of the Republic to discuss topical issues of the development of trade and economic cooperation between the two countries.

Ulfat Mustafin, Head of the Ufa Administration, took part in the sections «Republic of Moldova - Russian Regions» and «Developing Partnership. Moldova-Bashkiria.» Participants in the discussion platforms discussed priority areas for further development of cooperation between the regions of the two countries in different areas, identified the prospects for business cooperation and mechanisms for strengthening cooperation ties.

During his speech, Ulfat Mustafin informed his international colleagues about the priority areas for the development of Ufa, as well as those areas in which it is possible to develop potential cooperation. In addition, they talked about the implementation of the Smart City project, which involves the introduction of advanced digital technologies and engineering solutions in the urban environment.

Ulfat Mustafin noted that Ufa is an important transport hub that connects Bashkortostan with the regions of Russia, countries of near and far abroad.

«One of our main tasks is, first of all, strengthening and expanding international cooperation, establishing and developing bilateral relations, including the exchange of experience with regional and foreign partner cities. For this, we have all the necessary conditions. We also see the potential for the development of cooperation in the field of culture, sports, business and event tourism» said the head of the Ufa Administration.

Concluding his speech, Ulfat Mustafin invited his international colleagues to attend major events to be held in Ufa. This is the VI World Folkloriada, which will be held in 2020, the Junior World Championships in wrestling and the International Apiculture Congress Apimondia, which Ufa will host in 2021.

“Ufa always strives to develop friendly relations, is open to cooperation, is ready to learn from other cities and share its best practices,” summarized his speech Ulfat Mustafin, the head of the Ufa City Administration.

It should be noted that on May 29, 2019, a Protocol on establishing cooperation between the Ufa city Administration and the Executive Committee of the Autonomous Territorial Unit of Gagauzia of the Republic of Moldova was signed.

In this regard, it is planned to interact in the trade and economic sphere, implement joint investment projects, and establish business ties between enterprises.
