IV International Forum and Exhibition "Transport of the Urals" launched in Ufa

On September 24, the IV International Forum and Exhibition “Transport of the Urals” began their work at the VDNH-Expo venue. This is the only specialized event in the region that allows building a dialogue between government authorities, the business community and transport industry specialists at a single expo venue, not only at the level of the Russian Federation, but also internationally.

The Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan Radii Khabirov, Acting Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of Bashkortostan Raif Abdrakhimov, Head of Ufa Administration Ulfat Mustafin and other honorary guests attended the solemn opening of the forum.

Welcoming the forum participants, the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan Radii Khabirov emphasized that Ufa is once again becoming the center of business activity in the field of transport and construction.

«This event is very important for us, because within the framework of the implementation of decrees of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, we are now actively engaged in the implementation of a national project in the field of modernizing transport, creating safe and high-quality roads. This is a very serious challenge for us. However, from the very beginning of the implementation of this national project, we have increased volumes almost four times only on federal roads. » said the Head of the region.

Further, the forum guests visited the exposition of leading construction and transport companies, got acquainted with the latest municipal vehicles and modern buses located in front of the exhibition complex, and also discussed the prospects for the further implementation of the «City Electric Train» project with the leadership of the Kuibyshev Railway.

Thus, the Head of the Ufa Administration Ulfat Mustafin spoke about the interaction and implementation of the strategy of the city district. He noted that the municipality works closely with the Russian Railways.

«Today we commit ourselves to the construction of five transport interchange nodes. The project of one of them is almost ready, the rest will be completed in the next two years. During this period, we will prepare the necessary documentation and proceed with the construction of these interchange nodes,» said Ulfat Mustafin.

He also marked that thanks to this project, citizens and residents of nearby areas will have the opportunity to quickly and easily get to the city.

It should be noted that the IV International Forum and Exhibition "Transport of the Urals" are held with the support of the Ministry of Transport of Russia and are dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the Bashkortostan Road Transport Agency.
