Ufa celebrated Republic Day

On October 11, the republic celebrated the 29th anniversary of the proclamation of the Declaration on State Sovereignty of Bashkortostan.

As part of the celebration, festive events were held on the city's venues today: concert programs, thematic meetings, contests, exhibitions and other events.

So, in the Leninsky district, a festive concert "Dedicated to our beloved republic!" The festive event was accompanied by compositions in Russian and Bashkir languages, amateur art groups performed dance numbers of the peoples of the republic.

In the park named after Ivan Yakutov, a large-scale cultural event took place - the Republican youth multinational holiday "Hold hands, friends!" A colorful program was presented for the citizens with the participation of both professional and amateur performers of republican and foreign creative groups, university students, and participants in amateur performances of the Republican Center for Folk Art.

In the Oktyabrsky district of Ufa, in honor of Republic Day, a festive fair was held. Farmers from 32 districts of the Republic of Bashkortostan presented their products to the citizens.

Also, in the framework of the celebration of Republic Day, the informational campaign “Military service under the contract in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation - Your choice!” was held on Salavat Yulaev Square and the site of the Ethnic Park Vatan.

As part of the action, various venues were organized, including a demonstration of armed, military and special equipment, an exhibit of exhibits of the military-patriotic club Bulat, disassembly and assembly of weapons, demonstrations by military personnel, special forces in hand-to-hand combat, and companies of the guard of honor of the military district.

At the end of the holiday, a festive concert was held in the ethnical park "Vatan". Within its framework, a brass band, a song and dance ensemble of the Central Military District performed on stage. For the first time, the anthem of Bashkortostan was played with stars in folk karaoke along with cities and regions of the republic.

In addition, the group “Dervish Khan” performed for residents and guests of the capital of the republic. The headliners of the evening were Sergey Prikazchikov, Honored Artists of the Republic of Bashkortostan - the founder and soloist of the Pizza group, as well as Elvin Grey.

The concert ended with festive fireworks and a musical laser show.
