Ufa hosts IV Eurasian Humanitarian Forum

On October 23, the IV Eurasian Humanitarian Forum was opened in the «Toratau» Congress Hall.

On October 23, the IV Eurasian Humanitarian Forum was opened in the «Toratau» Congress Hall. It includes a cycle of scientific, educational and enlightening events, the goal is to strengthen interstate cooperation in the field of science, education, culture, implement joint research and educational projects, preserve and promote the heritage of enlightenment in the Eurasian space.

The forum has been held in the Republic of Bashkortostan since 2015. The organizers are traditionally the Commission of the Russian Federation for UNESCO, the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Bashkortostan. In 2019, the main co-organizer is the Bashkortostan State Pedagogical University named after M. Akmulla.

Elvira Aitkulova, Deputy Chairman of the State Assembly - Kurultay of the Republic of Bashkortostan, rector of the Bashkir State Pedagogical University named after M. Akmulla Salavat Sagitov, Supreme Mufti, Chairman of the Central Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Russia Talgat Tajuddin, member of the Commission of the Russian Federation for UNESCO, UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador Alexandra Ochirova, as well as guests of the Forum from different cities of Russia and abroad attended the Plenary meeting of the Forum.

The Head of Bashkortostan Radii Khabirov, Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of Russia Marina Borovskaya, Chairman of the State Assembly - Kurultay of the Republic of Bashkortostan Konstantin Tolkachev, sent greetings to the participants of the Forum.

At the end of the meeting, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the State Institution "Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy" and Bashkir State Pedagogical University named after M. Akmulla.
