A number of festive events will be held in Ufa for the Day of National Unity

A number of cultural, mass and sports events dedicated to the Day of National Unity will be held in Ufa.

On November 1, at 16.00 h., the City Palace of Culture will host a festive concert «Ufa - our common house.» It will be attended by soloists and creative collectives of cultural and leisure institutions of the city and Folklore Ensemble of Song and Dance «Miras».

On the same day, the House-Museum of V.I. Lenin will organize a presentation of the painting «Donya» by Timur Kabirov. The author of the painting travels all over the planet and in each country, locals, knot after knot, weave another jigsaw puzzle from floss threads. To date, Timur Kabirov has visited more than 25 countries. Presentation starts at 14.00 h.

The V open competition - the festival of young pianists named after Khalik Zaimov will be held at the Children's Music School No. 13. Start at 17.00 h. The Museum of the History of the Bashkir Organization of the All-Russian Society of the Blind organizes an exhibition of hand works of the blind «Friendship of Peoples» from November 1 to 8.

On November 4, at 11.00 h., a ceremony of laying flowers at the Friendship Monument will be held. Further, in the State Concert Hall «Bashkortostan» a republican holiday concert will be held. The event starts at 12.00 h.

During November, a number of events are planned in the municipal libraries, including the historical excursion «To Descendants as an Example», watching the film «Grateful Russia», the book exhibition «Together we are the country of Russia» and others.

It should be noted that festive events will traditionally take place in palaces of culture of the city of Ufa, in children’s music schools and schools of arts, adolescent clubs and educational institutions.
