From December 31, 2019 to January 5, 2020, Ufa will host the large-scale New Year's festival «TERRA ZIMA». It was first held last year and gathered several thousand citizens and guests of the capital. The organizers of the festival are the State Committee of the Republic of Bashkortostan for Tourism, the Administration of Ufa, the management company «Arkada», and the «Gostiny Dvor» shopping and business complex.

For the guests of the festival, the organizers have prepared an extensive entertainment program where each guest will find entertainment to their liking. One of the highlights of the festival will be the Snow Maiden Parade, which will be held on January 3, 2020. For the first time in Ufa, the Snow Maidens will parade from Sovetskaya Square along Lenin Street to the «Gostiny Dvor» shopping and business complex.

As part of the New Year's event, a flash mob and an award ceremony for the best Snow Maidens of the parade are planned.
