On February 23, in Ufa Victory Park, the Head of Bashkortostan Radii Khabirov took part in a solemn ceremony in honor of Defender of the Fatherland Day.

On behalf of the multinational people of the republic, the Head of the region laid fresh flowers at the monument dedicated to the immortal feat of the Heroes of the Soviet Union Alexander Matrosov and Minnigali Gubaidullin, at the foot of which the Eternal Flame burns. In memory of the fallen heroes, a moment of silence was announced.

Radii Khabirov also laid flowers at the memorial complex near the stele dedicated to the heroes - natives of the Ishimbay region, the small homeland of the Head of the republic.
