The opening of a sports school for boxing named after Nikolai Valuev took place in Ufa

On March 7, the grand opening of the state budgetary institution «Sports School of the Olympic Reserve in Boxing of the Republic of Bashkortostan named after Nikolai Valuev» was held at the Center for Sports Training of the Republic of Bashkortostan.

The honorary guests of the event were professional boxer, State Duma deputy Nikolai Valuev, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan Andrei Nazarov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan Irek Sagitov, Head of Ufa Administration Ulfat Mustafin.

«This hall will raise many champions, which the whole country and the Republic of Bashkortostan will be proud of. I’m sure that the ring will help you, athletes, to stand on their feet confidently, whether it’s sports or any other path that you choose for yourself,» Nikolai Valuev noted in his welcoming speech.

It should be noted that 180 people will train in the new hall under the guidance of 4 trainers. In total, in the sports school named after Nikolai Valuev 714 athletes will train under the supervision of 26 trainers.
