On March 18, in Ufa, the Head of Bashkortostan Radii Khabirov visited the Infectious Diseases Clinical Hospital No. 4. The Head of the region got acquainted with the work of the admission unit, examined the patient boxes, the intensive care unit and anesthesiology. The head physician, Radik Galimov, spoke about the algorithm for admitting patients with suspected coronavirus infection. According to him, the hospital staff is fully provided with protective clothing, necessary equipment and medicines. If necessary, specialists from a medical university and doctors of other specialties are ready to provide assistance to infectious disease specialists.

As for potential carriers of the virus, everything has been done in the hospital to isolate them as much as possible - up to the selected boxes with a separate entrance.

Each patient undergoes three-stage testing to completely eliminate the error.

According to Maxim Zabelin, special exercises were held throughout the republic, thanks to which employees of medical organizations know what to do with potential carriers of coronavirus. The work of the primary link has been strengthened.

Radii Khabirov also noted that they plan to build a new building for the infectious diseases hospital by the end of 2020. A group of specialists from Bashkortostan went to the Moscow region to learn from the experience of building prefabricated buildings.
