New tourist signs installed in Ufa

The work on the installation of new tourist signs is carried out within the framework of the development of the tourist potential of the capital of Bashkortostan and in accordance with the Methodological Guide for the creation of a system of road signs to cultural heritage sites developed by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation. To form a stable inbound tourist flow and improve the tourist attractiveness of the capital, Ufa city Administration of the Republic of Bashkortostan has developed a Concept for the development of the sphere of domestic and inbound tourism in the urban district of the city of Ufa of the Republic of Bashkortostan. The main priority areas of tourism development are business and eventful, promising areas of tourism are industrial, gastronomic and medical. Despite the difficult epidemiological situation, which negatively affected the tourism industry as a whole, work continues in Ufa to create a comfortable environment for residents and tourists of the city. In particular, work is underway to install tourist navigation signs. Stage 1 provides for the installation of signs in the pedestrian zone in the historic part of the city. It is planned that such signs will appear throughout the city. The signs are rectangular with an arrow pointing towards city attractions. They are marked with the names of objects, as well as the distance to them. An integrated approach to the development of tourism will make it possible to use the business potential of the city most efficiently, to ensure the management of tourist flows and redistribute it to promising areas of tourism.
