A patriotic action dedicated to the Russian Flag Day is being held in Ufa

On August 22, the Day of the State Flag of the Russian Federation, one of the most significant holidays for our country, is celebrated -. This year the Russian tricolor turns 351 years old.

The flag, along with the coat of arms and anthem, is a symbol of the unity and cohesion of the multinational people of our country.

Mass celebrations this year are not held due to the epidemiological situation. Ufa volunteers decided to congratulate the townspeople on the National Flag Day and hand over tricolor ribbons, organizing distribution points at bus stops.

Participants observe safety measures, use personal protective equipment. The action is held with the support of Ufa City Administration.

Also on the holiday the municipal folklore song and dance ensemble «Miras» congratulated Ufa residents and residents of the republic. The choir of the ensemble performed the anthem of the Russian Federation in the «Dubki» park next to the new Dancing Cranes fountain.
