Ulfat Mustafin spoke at the city meeting of education workers

On August 26, the city August meeting of education workers was held at VDNH-EXPO. This year, the theme of the metropolitan pedagogical council was «Development of the municipal education system in the context of the main strategic guidelines: achievements and prospects».

Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Science, Education and Culture Lilia Gumerova, Head of Ufa City Administration Ulfat Mustafin, Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Bashkortostan Aybulat Khazhin, Chairman of the Committee on Education, Culture, Youth Policy and Sports of the State Assembly - Kurultay RB Rail Asadullin , heads of district administrations and heads of education departments attended the plenary session.

Before the start of the plenary part, the guests got acquainted with the exhibition «Socially-oriented projects of the 2019-2020 academic year».

Welcoming the participants of the event, Ulfat Mustafin expressed his gratitude to the teaching staff of the capital for the well-coordinated work during the pandemic.

«The last academic year was not easy for us. The format of our work has changed dramatically. You have provided a high level of quality in online education. Each of you approached the matter with a soul and coped with the task one hundred percent. This is confirmed by the successful passing of the Unified State Exam. It is gratifying that Ufa has increased the number of 100-point students based on the USE results. Out of 126 republican hundred-point works, 61 were completed by students of Ufa schools. For comparison, last year there were 16 fewer graduates with the highest marks.» he noted.

Today 257 preschool, 128 general education and 46 institutions of additional education represent the municipal education system of the capital. They employ about 12 thousand teachers. This year, schools in the capital will host 126,000 students. Also, the Head of the Ufa City Administration noted that schools must be prepared for any situations due to coronavirus infection.

«In a week, a new academic year will begin for everyone in full-time. To preserve the health of children and counter the spread of coronavirus infection, medical inspectors are starting to work in educational institutions of the city from September 1. We must prepare for different circumstances and different scenarios for the development of the situation. It is possible that if an increase in the incidence rate is outlined, it will be necessary to switch to distance learning.» said Ulfat Mustafin.

Ulfat Mustafin also informed about the construction of five kindergartens for 925 children, a new educational center in the Inors microdistrict and the reconstruction of Lyceum No. 21 in the Kirovsky district.

«During the holidays, 73 educational institutions underwent major repairs. A comprehensive overhaul is now being completed in two schools. Another pleasant moment. A monument to the first teacher will soon appear in Ufa. This is the initiative of the people's teacher of Russia Liza Kiyamovna Agadullina. We supported it and today we are considering the places for placing the monument. » he added.

Concluding his speech, Ulfat Mustafin noted the importance of filling the education system with young personnel and readiness to support them in all undertakings.

«I am sure that young teachers will bring their energy, new vision and new approach to the teaching and upbringing of the younger generation. In the new academic year, we will continue the renovation of children meals, the development of inclusive education, we will improve the vocational guidance system and do everything to make every child comfortable at school, » summed up the Head of the City Administration.

Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Science, Education and Culture Lilia Gumerova highly appreciated the quality of teaching and the education system in the municipality and presented the head of the Education Department of the Ufa City Administration Elena Khaffazova with the Certificate of Honor of the Federation Council «For many years of conscientious work and great contribution to the development of the educational system of the Republic Bashkortostan».

The Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Bashkortostan Aibulat Khazhin praised the city's management team and expressed confidence that the number of high-grade students in the Unified State Exam will increase annually in Ufa.

At the end of the pedagogical council, the best pedagogical workers of the capital were awarded with certificates of honor from the Head of the City Administration.
