Radii Khabirov visited the packaging production plant «Polex Ural» in Ufa

On September 3, in Ufa, the Head of Bashkortostan, Radii Khabirov, visited the production site of the «Polex Ural» plant for the production of disposable tableware and packaging. The Head of Ufa City Administration Ulfat Mustafin also attended the event.

The company produces polypropylene cups and containers for the food industry by molding and injection molding - more than 190 types of packaging in total, including the premium segment. The products are in demand by more than 300 consumers in Russia and the CIS countries. The share of the enterprise in the domestic market is about 25 percent.

Refat Abdurashitov, general director of «Polex Ural» LLC, said that the company is implementing a large-scale investment project to expand the processing of plastics, which will create 70 new jobs. The total amount of investments is 357 million rubles.

For the full operation of the new automated complex, the plant needs additional territory. The CEO asked for assistance in arranging the lease of a neighboring land plot with an area of 600 sq. m, which is in municipal ownership.

The Head of the republic instructed the Ministry of Industry and Energy of the Republic of Bashkortostan, together with Ufa City Administration, to work out the possibility of solving the land issue.

For his contribution to the development of industry, Radii Khabirov presented the General Director of «Polex Ural» LLC Refat Abdurashitov with the Certificate of Honor of the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
