The vehicle fleet of the «Special Car Services for Cleaning the City of Ufa» has been replenished with another batch of municipal vehicles

On September 14, the fleet of the regional operator for the handling of municipal solid waste, the MUE «Spetsavtokhozyaistvo for cleaning the city of Ufa», increased by another 6 units of equipment. The keys to the new garbage trucks based on KAMAZ were presented by the head of Ufa City Administration Ulfat Mustafin and the Minister of Nature Management and Ecology of the Republic of Bashkortostan Ural Iskandarov.

«City housing and communal services have recently significantly strengthened their material and technical base. Renewal is taking place in all branches of the municipal economy. All this is aimed at creating a comfortable urban environment for Ufa residents and guests of the capital. I am sure that the new equipment will allow the enterprise to cope even better with the removal of waste from the Ufa yards», said Ulfat Mustafin.

In turn, Ural Iskandarov added that the program for subsidizing the purchase of new equipment for garbage disposal from the republican budget will continue.

«We bought excellent equipment, compared to what is now working around the city, for example, old ZILs, this equipment holds 2.5 times more garbage», he stressed.

It should be noted that a phased upgrade of municipal equipment is underway in Ufa. This year, 59 units of special equipment have already been purchased, including 17 - for laying asphalt concrete mixture (pavers, milling machines, rollers, trawls) and 36 - for cleaning the city (dump trucks, loaders, vacuum cleaners). Today there are 6 more garbage trucks.

All this helps to reduce the number of worn-out municipal equipment in the city. In particular, in two years it was possible to reduce it from 90 to 70%.

The percentage of physically and morally obsolete equipment has also noticeably decreased in the MUE «Spetsavtokhozyaistvo for cleaning the city of Ufa». If before the start of the garbage reform it was 78%, then today this figure has decreased to 45-50%.

Renovation of the regional operator's vehicle fleet allows replacing outdated equipment that does not meet technical and environmental requirements. In one trip, a garbage truck can take out about 60 euro containers.
