Ulfat Mustafin: «Today I signed a decree on the beginning of the heating season at social facilities»

On September 15, the Head of Ufa City Administration Ulfat Mustafin held a weekly operational meeting.

Before discussing the issues on the agenda, Ulfat Mustafin said that starting September 15 in Ufa, heat is being supplied to the city's social institutions: kindergartens, schools and medical institutions. Thus, the new heating season in the city starts earlier.

«Forecasters do not yet predict warm weather. We cannot wait either. Now it is important for us that there is no surge in morbidity among children and schoolchildren», the Head of the City Administration emphasized, instructing the heads of district administrations and the head of structural units to take special control over the issue of turning on heating in social facilities.

With regard to heat supply to apartment buildings, a decision will be made in the near future, taking into account weather conditions.

Further, during the meeting, a number of actual topics were discussed. One of the main issues in the work of city and district administrations is budget execution. A report was made by the Deputy Head of the Administration of the City of Ufa - Head of the Financial Department Gulnara Valieva.

On the preparedness of the city and various facilities for the heating season, Anton Tristan, the head of the city's life support department, informed in detail. In continuation of the topic, the issues of completion of earthworks in preparation for the heating season were discussed separately, on which the head of the Department of Communal Services and Improvement Rustem Khamitov reported.

Also at the meeting, reports were presented on the implementation of work within the framework of the Year of aesthetics of settlements by the heads of the administrations of the Oktyabrsky, Ordzhonikidze and Sovetsky districts.

At the end of the operational meeting, the Head of Ufa Administration recalled that earlier, in connection with the coronavirus infection, the municipality had decided to postpone the festive events to the City Day on October 11 and combine them with the celebration of the Republic Day.

«While this date remains in force for us. It is necessary to approve the working group and the plan for all activities taking into account sanitary requirements. We also have to notify the townspeople in advance», Ulfat Mustafin emphasized.
