On December 10, in the capital of Bashkortostan, festive illumination on the streets and light installations with garlands on sites with Christmas trees and ice towns were lit.

Illumination lights up the streets, facades and entrance groups of various enterprises, retail service facilities, Christmas trees are installed and decorated in squares, volumetric light compositions have appeared in parks and squares, near administrative buildings and institutions - all this creates a festive atmosphere and New Year's mood.

The total length of garlands in the city is about 18 km, with more than 48 thousand lamps installed. On the streets, LED consoles are installed on 506 lighting poles and banners in the amount of 38 pieces. The maintenance and connection of garlands and light structures is carried out by specialists of the municipal enterprise «Ufagorsvet».

It should be noted that three main city Christmas trees and ice towns are planned for festive folk festivals in Ufa: two pixel interactive Christmas trees - on Salavat Yulaev Square and on Sovetskaya Square, as well as the central one on Lenin Square - a natural forest beauty from the Blagoveshchensky district.

This year all ice towns in the capital of the republic are united by the theme of Russian folk tales and Soviet cartoons. New Year's greeting banners and videos on the city's street screens with elements of the Palekh style, which is the intangible cultural heritage of our country, have become a harmonious addition to the declared theme.

Ufa was transformed for the New Year celebrations. Large-scale preparatory work was carried out to make the New Year holidays even brighter, residents and guests of the capital could enjoy various colorful lighting effects and meet the upcoming 2021 in a good mood.
