Sergey Grekov will fulfill the New Year wishes of three young residents of Bashkortostan

On December 23, Sergei Grekov, the Acting Head of Ufa Administration, took part in the All-Russian action «The Wishing Tree».

The Acting Head of Ufa City Administration Sergei Grekov took three Christmas balls with the wishes of the participants of the action from the tree installed in the State Concert Hall «Bashkortostan».

So, 9-year-old Grigory Gordienko dreams of a home trampoline, 7-year-old Timur Gainullin - of a two-wheeled bicycle, and 5-year-old Arsen Shirgazin - of a Swedish wall.

«I am very close to the theme of charity, the tradition of volunteerism and good deeds. The all-Russian project «The Wishing Tree» is a wonderful opportunity to do more good deeds, to give attention, festive mood and faith in a miracle to those who need it the most. I am pleased to join the implementation of the project supported by the Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Faritovich Khabirov. It so happened that all the gifts that were announced, are connected to sports. For me this is doubly pleasant. I think we have a decent generation growing up! I undertake to fulfill these cherished wishes. Miracles must come true. Happy New Year!» - said Sergei Grekov.

The Deputy Head of Ufa Administration Alina Suleimanova and the Head of the Administration of the Kirovsky district Ilvir Nurdavlyatov also attended the action.

The goal of the All-Russian action «The Wishing Tree» is to make the New Year dreams of orphans, children from low-income families and elderly people with a life-threatening health condition come true. Russian President Vladimir Putin launched this year’s action on December 5.

Applications were accepted from November 16 to December 15. More than 500 applications with wishes were received from Bashkortostan to the website of the action. They will be performed until February 28. Famous artists, public and political figures will fulfill the wishes.
