Radiy Khabirov laid flowers at the Eternal Flame in the Ufa Victory Park

On February 23, a solemn ceremony was held in the Ufa Victory Park in honor of the Defender of the Motherland Day.

It was attended by the Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov, Chairman of the State Assembly - Kurultai RB Konstantin Tolkachev, Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan Andrey Nazarov, Head of Ufa City Administration Sergey Grekov, as well as deputies, heads of republican and municipal authorities, cadets, representatives of military-patriotic clubs and others.

On behalf of the multinational people of the republic, the Head of the region laid flowers at the monument dedicated to the immortal act of bravery of Heroes of the Soviet Union Alexander Matrosov and Minnigali Gubaidullin, at the foot of which the Eternal Flame is burning. A minute of silence was announced in memory of the fallen heroes.

Radiy Khabirov also laid flowers at the memorial complex at the stele dedicated to the heroes - natives of the Ishimbay region, the small homeland of the head of the republic.

In addition, the Head of Bashkortostan got acquainted with the project of creating an art object «Union of Generations of Paratroopers». A monument dedicated to the formation of the Russian Airborne Forces and depicting three generations of paratroopers is planned to be opened in Victory Park on the Day of the Airborne Forces on August 2, 2021.
