The Commission of the Russian General Staff got acquainted with the experience of the Ufa school No. 157 in training students in the basics of military service and patriotic education

On March 31, the Commission of the General Staff of Russia, within the framework of a competition among the regions of the Russian Federation for the best preparation of residents for military service, got acquainted with the experience of the Ufa school No. 157 in training students in the basics of military service and patriotic education. The Head of Ufa City Administration Sergei Grekov attended the event. From March 29 to March 31, the Central Competition Commission of the General Staff of Russia, together with representatives of relevant federal ministries and departments, checks the work of the republic as part of a competition among the regions of the Russian Federation for the best preparation of residents for military service. Lieutenant General Dmitry Kasperovich, First Deputy Chief of the Main Organizational and Mobilization Directorate of the General Staff of the RF Armed Forces, Hero of Russia, heads the commission. Bashkortostan has achieved the best indicators in this direction among 29 regions that are part of the Central Military District. The republic has successfully accomplished the task set by the President of the country, Vladimir Putin, by fulfilling the draft plan. More than 9 thousand new recruits from the republic joined the ranks of the Russian Armed Forces in 2020. Now Bashkortostan, along with the Stavropol Territory and the Oryol Region, competes to win the federal competition. «The culture of pre-conscription training of young people has developed historically. That is why Ufa is always at the forefront of the draft campaign. In our educational institutions today there are 36 museums of military glory, 20 military-patriotic clubs, 57 cadet classes, 191 youth army detachments, 35 youth army headquarters, 5 mobile detachments of the «School of Security». In 2020, within the framework of the republican competition «Raising the Sons of the Fatherland», 38 Ufa schools received diplomas of winners, they were given the honorary right to assign the names of Heroes of the Soviet Union. In addition to physical culture and recreation and sports events, in the districts of Ufa, sports days are actively held among pre-conscription and draft youth, a sports contest among young army men, in several sports, including general physical training and passing the TRP standards,» - said Sergei Grekov, referring to the meeting participants. During the event, schoolchildren demonstrated to members of the commission and honored guests, among whom were Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Belarus Irek Sagitov, Minister of Education of the Republic of Bashkortostan Aibulat Khazhin, military commissar of the republic, Colonel Mikhail Blazhevich, their skills and sports training. In particular, the delivery of the TRP standards, the provision of first aid, the assembly and disassembly of the machine gun, the shooting of them in the electronic dash, the marching step and the performance of patriotic songs. As a result of the visit, Dmitry Kasperovich highly appreciated the work carried out in the republic and in Ufa on the patriotic education of students and pre-conscription training, noting that in many areas the experience of republican and Ufa schools can be used as an example.
