During the event, the parties discussed possible forms of cooperation between Bashkortostan, its capital and India, including the implementation of investment projects in the field of construction, transport, oil and gas industry and machine production through teleconferences or within the framework of further meetings.

As a result of the meeting, the participants concluded that there is a great potential for further mutually beneficial and effective cooperation between the Administration of Ufa, companies and organizations of India. The parties expressed confidence that the meeting will give a positive impetus to the further development of bilateral ties. In particular, due to the restrictions associated with the new coronavirus infection, an agreement was reached to intensify online contacts in order to expand cooperation ties through holding meetings in the format of video conferencing.

In 2020, the trade between Bashkortostan and India amounted to more than 113 million US dollars. The priority areas in terms of investment interaction are mechanical engineering, information technology and others.
